Mother's Day

There is no love like a Mother's
It's a love thats tender and true,
Right from the moment you were born
She was blessed with love for you.
She carried you far, has pushed you miles,
Dried your tears, enjoyed your smiles
Supported you as you tried to walk
Helped to teach you how to talk
Everything was done in love for you
For long hours, and thoroughly too
Would turn her hands to anything
To get the best for you
So! Why wait until its Mother's Day!
To show her that you care
Everyday reach out to say
"Thank God, Mum, you are there"
Take hold of her and hug her
Then see how her face will glow
Because she will feel your love
And all because you let her know

by Florence May Taylor (Nanny Taylor) - we miss and love you

The poem above was written by my beloved Nan, whom we miss so much. She was such a wonderful example of what a mother can be.

She had a wonderful daughter, whom I am grateful has been such a devoted mother to me and loving Nana to my children.

So, although it's not Mother's Day in England, we celebrate YOU in the States and will be thinking of you.

Wish we were with you today, Mum. We miss you and love you!

Happy Mother's Day to one of the best moms I know! You have four of the nicest kids I've ever met. That proves it, the apples don't fall far from the tree. I hope you had a great day!!
